As part of the celebrations, the ultra-low cost carrier is giving away free flights in Plano on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, and in Fort Worth on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Also, travelers booked out of DFW between March 21 and March 27 can use Frontier’s exclusive promo code of ‘GET20k’ to take advantage of a promotion that could allow them to earn 20,000 FRONTIER Miles℠. In honor of its expanding presence in Texas, Frontier is also inviting travelers to help the airline find a name for its Texas-themed plane tail, which features a golden-cheeked warbler. Finally, visitors should keep an eye out for Powder, the Frontier mascot, who will be visiting both locales. Those who snap a selfie with the bear under the hashtag #PicswithPowder will also be entered into a free flight drawing along with three of their friends.
Where to Take Part in Frontier’s Celebration at DFW
Travelers who want to take part in Frontier’s festivities on March 23 can stop by Birdie’s Social Club, 2736 W. 6th St., in Fort Worth from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Registration is required for both events and those in Plano can express their interest here while travelers in Fort Worth can do so here. More details on the week’s events can also be found here.
At present, Frontier already serves multiple destinations out of DFW and by May, the airline will be expanding its services to several new destinations, including Montego Bay, Jamaica. May will also see the airline open a new crew base at DFW, which will employ a maximum of 120 pilots and 220 crew members within the year.
